New Collection: Everyday diamonds + ultimate luxe style
Introducing my newest designs for casual diamond jewelry and everyday luxe style! Simple, not overdone, a bit of edge, and an against the grain finesse. These designs were created to be around for a long time to come. The identity of this collection came to fruition by way of the timeless beauty of my muse, my friend, Carrie Coon (more on her below!). My design aesthetic coincides with just what I admire of Carrie’s inimitable vibe. My inspiration reached new heights to style her with these designs and gratifying to see my vision come to life through the lens of Kirsten Miccoli.
((…and the best of sidetracks, I promise! To further connect you, my admirers and collectors, I must spill some tidbits on what I admire greatly of Carrie as my inspiration. She has an open heart and acceptance to all encountered. Avid recycler of any and every component that crosses her way like no one’s business. Carves out a carbon footprint at any given opportunity. One of the best mothers I have seen in action with intentional and unconditional love. As a mother first and actor second, Carrie is a compelling actor that can excel at performing any identity. Her talent is absolutely divine. Queue, “Let’s play have you seen…?!” She currently graces the tv screen on “The Gilded Age” series (oh my, the history, the costumes!), “The Leftovers'' series (awesomely twisted), “The Nest” movie (entertaining delusion), “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” movie (80’s kid dream), “Gone Girl” movie (hold your breath), on stage for “Bug” (edge of your seat). Most genuinely of all, she truly just does life right. Can you see what I mean?))
It is no secret that I loooove mixing metals. Two-tone jewelry designs offer flexibility and I appreciate when the unexpected can come together harmoniously. And having these white diamonds set in darkened sterling silver allows them to contrast deliciously well among 14k gold fill and bright sterling silver (and perhaps a little rose gold!). And with these everyday diamond jewelry designs, they exude a magical and edgy glisten that doesn’t convey traditional diamond jewelry.
The desire to design with diamonds allowed me to dive into what a diamond actually symbolizes to me. My thought process - a diamond is something: timeless, sentimental, luxe, yet wishfully casual. The most notable nudge was the consistent inquiries to offer higher-end fine designs all within a price point that recognizes the collectors of all of my previous collections. (okay, okayyy, I hear you!) THANK YOU for the push, folks!
While introducing diamonds into my modern jewelry lineup, it was non-negotiable that these diamond jewelry designs had to be adamantly special with a unique take on what could be interpreted as “casual diamond jewelry”. The elevated take on Rach B allows these additions to be foundational pieces that will stay at the core of your routine jewelry picks. As you may tell, I long to pair the unconventional with the fine - hammered! hand forged! mixing metals! Hence, having set these sparkly white diamonds within perfectly imperfect sleek and edgy settings. Ta-da!
Personally, traditional diamond jewelry never really vibed with me. Once I realized white diamonds aren’t only suitable for higher-end metals like platinum and gold (cha-ching!) I was determined to make this happen. My approach to bringing forth diamonds into my unique jewelry designs was to bridge the gap of casually luxe finer designs within an obtainable price point. And by contrasting these diamonds with 14k gold fill and bright sterling lets all of the edgy stunners be especially attainable (and cooool). A type of piece that you could treat yourself to without reason, but rather self acknowledgement, love and style.
Successfully, these modern diamond designs don’t scream “Diamonnnd!”. I know they are and it makes me (and hopefully, you too!) feel good. Once I embraced this leap for my jewelry, while harnessing the Rach B scope of design and price point, I was thrilled to at last fill this void for myself, my admirers and my collectors and accomplish this feat for earrings, ear cuffs, threaders, necklace pendants, and charm necklaces.
Noting a few favorites! Feel spectacularly bright with these diamond star chain threader earrings (as if all the stars shine for you!) Especially lightweight to embrace the magical sway of these playful earrings.
And I love this diamond pave spike charm that adds a bit of polished edge for a simply dramatic style to wear alone or add to your layer game.
If you don’t mind getting ooo’d and ahhh’d, this awesomely sturdy presence of a bracelet will do just that! This black spinel large paperclip link bracelet is a stunner of all stunners!
And with each new collection debut season after season (approaching my 16th year!), one thing remains the same - the Rach B aesthetic. This diamond pave collection has unique jewelry designs that are as decorative as they are functional. While embracing my consistent geometric silhouettes and airy proportions, these new designs are complementary to previous collections as out-of-the-ordinary, everyday jewelry pieces. And dare I say, making “casual diamonds” a thing ;)
I hope you love what you see! xx, Rach
