The NEW Carnelian Arch Collection
Introducing the newest collection - Carnelian Arch! The fresh air and colors of the Fall season fuels me with a rush of euphoria. The warmth and vibrancy of this modern jewelry collection came to fruition from the simple sophistication of simply bold, smooth carnelian stones. Adorned on 14k gold fill and sterling silver metals, these carnelian stones suspend among the idolized arch silhouette. Thrilled for neutral layers, rich colors, and cozy attire - these fluid carnelian designs are meant to peek out for a bit of notice.
Symbolizing integrity and strength - I elaborated on my inspiration for the arch silhouette. This iconic shape embraces and successfully conquers endured weight structurally and, well, metaphorically - personally - making the transition into Fall pleasant as can be this year. The arch silhouette has softened up my usual stricter design lines. The curvilinear lines within the arch showcase a unique take on a common shape that is found in many places throughout our days - architecture, geometry, windows, gardens, churches - go ahead, you’ll see! I gladly welcome inspiration anywhere I go. Every day on my walk through my Bucktown neighborhood of Chicago (usually with a kid or two in tow) and with said kiddie cargo, the ordinary becomes extraordinary. Seeing the world through a child’s lens offers a vivacious approach to the way our world can be interpreted. The way they acknowledge their surroundings, inquire about every(single!)thing, and exclaim pure joy of what surrounds them, well, simply inspires a refreshing perspective in every possible way. You’ll notice things you hadn’t ever before. Oh, the joy to be a kid again!
While the luxe arch silhouette was newer to me this year when I introduced the spring/summer Arch Collection with chrysoprase - I honed in on the continued inspiration transitioning into Fall. Appreciating the fresh modern jewelry I designed for Spring/Summer (like these swing arch earrings and long pendant necklace), I took on the concept with a richened approach for Fall and embraced the flowing lines and graceful curves.
Before I design jewelry with a particular stone, it actually chooses me first. The shape, the cut, the color - and this carnelian spoke to me as I immediately imagined the possible unique jewelry designs. I marvel at the vibrant hues simmering within the shades of carnelian. It’s like a fluid movement of color ranging from translucent rust to rich clay soil, with a lucid marble vein moving through the stone. Just like a sunset, the carnelian stone cleanses away the day, realigns your strength with the promise of a new day following. While carnelian is a stone that symbolizes bold energy, warmth, and a joy that lingers - it empowers and stimulates just as so. Embracing the attributes of a carnelian, it is appreciated for being a stone of courage, endurance, energy, leadership, and motivation. I doubt it could be any easier to desire this good vibe stone for your days.
